Amber, Cedar, Citrus fruits, Rose and Saffron: those are the notes FragranceGems records for it. The small size, 2, 5 or 10 ml, is meant for exactly that: a few honest wearings before anything bigger. A paper strip shows the outline, skin shows the detail.

Fragrance notes

Amber, Cedar, Citrus fruits, Rose, Saffron

On paper

For Assaf Arrogate Comete, FragranceGems names Amber, Cedar, Citrus fruits, Rose and Saffron. No order is recorded, which means the sample is the way to find out what comes first and what remains. Try it on a normal day, not only on a special one, to see whether it fits your routine.

Its family

As a family, FragranceGems gives citrus, floral and oriental for Assaf Arrogate Comete. Read that as a rough direction before you try it. For strength, the listing says moderate. Your own nose gets used to a scent quickly, so ask someone near you what they notice.

What you receive

The decant holds the same liquid as the full bottle of Assaf Arrogate Comete, moved into a small glass spray vial by FragranceGems and labelled by us. Because it is a spray, the perfume spreads on skin the same way it would from the bottle.

How to test it

The season tags for Assaf Arrogate Comete cover the whole year, which means you can begin your test whenever it suits you. For occasions, the listing says everyday wear, evenings and special occasions. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day.

Who it is for

According to FragranceGems, Arrogate Comete is for everyone (unisex). It also works for anyone who wants a small vial for travel or a bag. If you already know the house, a decant lets you check whether this one fits next to what you own.

Why try Assaf Arrogate Comete as a sample first

A full bottle is a long commitment, and a sample lets you make it with open eyes. What you get is a decant made by FragranceGems from the original bottle, with our label. The house is not involved and it is not an official brand sample. If it suits you, FragranceGems sells the full bottle.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Assaf Arrogate Comete and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. In practice a perfume suits whoever enjoys wearing it, and a sample is the simplest way to find out whether that is you.

How should I keep the vial?
Closed, upright if possible, and away from heat and direct sunlight, the same way you would keep a full bottle. That keeps Arrogate Comete as it was when we filled it.
