carner-barcelona-black-calamus-sample
Carner Barcelona Black Calamus Sample

Carner Barcelona Black Calamus is a perfume from the Carner Barcelona line-up. A note pyramid is not on file here, so this page makes no claims about how it should come across. A decant gives you time with it, which a quick spray on a paper strip never does. Pay attention to what is still there by the evening, since that is the part you live with longest.

No note list on record

No note list is on record for Carner Barcelona Black Calamus; wear it and judge. We would rather give you a clean sample than a description we cannot stand behind. One wearing shows a mood, several wearings show the perfume. Do not judge it next to other perfumes on the same arm, as they blur each other.

Asking for this sample

This sample is listed on request, which means it is not filled yet. Use the form on this page to let us know you would like Black Calamus, and we note it. Write down what you notice after a few minutes and again after lunch, and you will see how it moves.

About the decant

Your sample of Carner Barcelona Black Calamus is a decant: the perfume is taken from the original bottle by FragranceGems and filled into a glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml. The vial carries our own label. Keep the vial away from heat and direct sunlight, as you would a full bottle.

How to test it

For Carner Barcelona Black Calamus we hold no season or occasion data, so try it in more than one setting. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week. Keep the rest of the vial for a second and third try in other weather.

Who it is for

No audience is on record for Carner Barcelona Black Calamus, and a perfume does not check who wears it anyway. Collectors use decants to explore widely without filling a shelf. If you already know the house, a decant lets you check whether this one fits next to what you own.

Why try Carner Barcelona Black Calamus as a sample first

A sample of Black Calamus answers the two things that matter: whether you like it, and whether you still like it on the fifth wearing. What you get is a decant made by FragranceGems from the original bottle, with our label. The house is not involved and it is not an official brand sample.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Carner Barcelona Black Calamus and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. The vial carries our own label, so it is a decant and not a sample made by the brand.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Carner Barcelona Black Calamus, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

Which size should I choose?
That depends on how long you want to test. The smallest vial is enough for a first impression of Black Calamus; the larger ones give you many wearings, in different weather and on different days.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0782/5938/8570/files/carner-barcelona-black-calamus-sample.jpg?v=1791526642
