dolce-gabbana-velvet-desire-sample
Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire Sample

This is Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire, a perfume by Dolce & Gabbana, offered here as a sample. There is no recorded pyramid on this page, because we only print notes we can trace. Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description. Smell it right after applying and again later in the day, because the first minutes rarely tell the whole story.

No pyramid here

The notes of Velvet Desire are not in our files. That is not a judgement about the perfume, only about what we can state with certainty. Notes on a list are a map, and what you notice on your own skin is the territory. What reads as sweet on one person can read as dry on another.

Asking for this sample

This sample is listed on request, which means it is not filled yet. Use the form on this page to let us know you would like Velvet Desire, and we note it. Notice how close it stays to the skin and how much of it others pick up. Clothes hold a scent differently from skin, which makes a scarf or sleeve a useful second test.

The vial

The decant holds the same liquid as the full bottle of Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire, moved into a small glass spray vial by FragranceGems and labelled by us. Pick the small vial if you only want to know whether you like it, and a larger one if you want to live with it for a while.

How to test it

Nothing on record ties Velvet Desire to a season or a moment, and that makes a broad test the best one. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby.

Who it is for

Who Velvet Desire is aimed at is not on record with us. Whoever wears it decides whether it fits, not the label. If you are choosing a gift, testing it yourself first tells you what you are giving. Anyone who reacts strongly to certain notes is wise to test on skin first.

Why try Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire as a sample first

Choosing a bottle unsmelled is a gamble, and a decant takes the gamble out of it. To be clear, this is not an official brand sample. FragranceGems decants it from the original bottle and puts its own label on the vial; Dolce & Gabbana plays no role.

Frequently asked questions

What does the sample look like?
It is a small glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our own label on it. It sprays like a bottle, so you apply Velvet Desire the way you normally would.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

Will Velvet Desire be the same on me as on someone else?
Probably not exactly. Skin, weather and the amount you apply all change how a perfume comes across, which is the reason to wear Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire yourself before deciding.
