etat-libre-dorange-above-the-waves-sample
Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves Sample

On this page you find Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves, a perfume, as a decant. We have no note list on record for it, so we describe nothing we cannot back up. A sample is the sensible first step: a perfume on paper and a perfume on skin are rarely the same thing. Give it time to settle before you judge it.

What is not on this page

We have the name and the house of Above the Waves, not its notes. Instead of copying a list from somewhere, we leave that part empty. What reads as sweet on one person can read as dry on another. Clothes hold a scent differently from skin, which makes a scarf or sleeve a useful second test.

Let us know

For now, Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves can only be asked for. The form on this page records your interest in this perfume, and we make no promise about timing. Your own nose gets used to a scent quickly, so ask someone near you what they notice.

The sample itself

Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves comes as 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial, filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle. It is labelled by us and not by the brand. A spray vial lets you apply it the way you would from the bottle, which a dab-on tube does not.

How to test it

When to wear Above the Waves is not on record with us; test it on the kind of day you would actually wear it. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby.

Who it is for

There is no audience on file for Above the Waves, which leaves it open to anyone curious. The sample is for anyone who wants to know a perfume before owning it. If you are choosing a gift, testing it yourself first tells you what you are giving.

Why try Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves as a sample first

Trying before owning saves shelf space and regret. Filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle, labelled by us: a decant, not an official brand sample. We are not affiliated with Etat Libre d'Orange. Pay attention to what is still there by the evening, since that is the part you live with longest.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. The vial carries our own label, so it is a decant and not a sample made by the brand.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Etat Libre d'Orange Above the Waves, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

How should I keep the vial?
Closed, upright if possible, and away from heat and direct sunlight, the same way you would keep a full bottle. That keeps Above the Waves as it was when we filled it.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0782/5938/8570/files/etat-libre-dorange-above-the-waves-sample.jpg?v=1791514304
