heretic-black-salt-sample
Heretic Black Salt Sample

Heretic Black Salt is a perfume from the Heretic line-up. We do not have its notes on record, which is one more reason to let your own nose decide. Start with 2, 5 or 10 ml and give it a few days, so that the first impression is not the only one. The opening is the loudest part and the shortest, so let it pass before deciding.

No note list on record

Our record for Black Salt stops at brand and name. Notes, families and seasons are left out here because we cannot verify them. Pay attention to what is still there by the evening, since that is the part you live with longest. Smell it right after applying and again later in the day, because the first minutes rarely tell the whole story.

Asking for this sample

On request means we do not have Heretic Black Salt ready to decant at this moment. Your message through the form on this page tells us there is interest; we promise no date. Do not judge it next to other perfumes on the same arm, as they blur each other.

About the decant

A decant is perfume poured over from the original bottle into a smaller one. For Black Salt that means a glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our label on it. Three sizes mean you decide how long you want to test. Pick the small vial if you only want to know whether you like it, and a larger one if you want to live with it for a while.

How to test it

When to wear Black Salt is not on record with us; test it on the kind of day you would actually wear it. Ask someone you trust what they notice, because your own nose adapts quickly. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week.

Who it is for

Who Black Salt is aimed at is not on record with us. It also works for anyone who wants a small vial for travel or a bag. If you are choosing a gift, testing it yourself first tells you what you are giving. Anyone who reacts strongly to certain notes is wise to test on skin first.

Why try Heretic Black Salt as a sample first

With a decant you find out in a week what a description cannot tell you in a page. What you get is a decant made by FragranceGems from the original bottle, with our label. The house is not involved and it is not an official brand sample.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Heretic Black Salt and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. The vial carries our own label, so it is a decant and not a sample made by the brand.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Heretic Black Salt, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

How do I test Black Salt properly?
Spray it on clean skin, do not rub, and check it after a few minutes, at midday and in the evening. Repeat that on a few different days before you decide about a bottle.
