matiere-premiere-bois-debene-sample
Matière Première Bois D'Ebene Sample

This is Matière Première Bois D'Ebene, a perfume by Matière Première, offered here as a sample. We have no note list on record for it, so we describe nothing we cannot back up. A decant of 2, 5 or 10 ml lets you wear it on several days before you decide about a full bottle. Notes on a list are a map, and what you notice on your own skin is the territory.

Without a pyramid

No note list is on record for Matière Première Bois D'Ebene; wear it and judge. We would rather give you a clean sample than a description we cannot stand behind. Wear it on more than one day before you make up your mind. Write down what you notice after a few minutes and again after lunch, and you will see how it moves.

Asking for this sample

Matière Première Bois D'Ebene is listed so that you can ask for it. Send the form on this page and your interest is noted; we do not name a date. The opening is the loudest part and the shortest, so let it pass before deciding. Clothes hold a scent differently from skin, which makes a scarf or sleeve a useful second test.

The vial

The sample is made by hand: Matière Première Bois D'Ebene goes from the original bottle into a glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml, which we then label. Pick the small vial if you only want to know whether you like it, and a larger one if you want to live with it for a while.

How to test it

Nothing on record ties Bois D'Ebene to a season or a moment, and that makes a broad test the best one. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby.

Who it is for

Who Bois D'Ebene is aimed at is not on record with us. If Matière Première is new to you, a small vial is a calm way to get acquainted. It suits people who like to put a few scents side by side over a week. Anyone who reacts strongly to certain notes is wise to test on skin first.

Why try Matière Première Bois D'Ebene as a sample first

Trying before owning saves shelf space and regret. It is our own decant from the original bottle, labelled by us. This is not an official brand sample and the house is not involved. Pay attention to what is still there by the evening, since that is the part you live with longest.

Frequently asked questions

What does the sample look like?
It is a small glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our own label on it. It sprays like a bottle, so you apply Bois D'Ebene the way you normally would.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Matière Première Bois D'Ebene, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

How should I keep the vial?
Closed, upright if possible, and away from heat and direct sunlight, the same way you would keep a full bottle. That keeps Bois D'Ebene as it was when we filled it.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0782/5938/8570/files/matiere-premiere-bois-debene-sample.jpg?v=1791508781
