mayhap-potion-dinconnu-sample
Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu Sample

This is Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu, a perfume by Mayhap, offered here as a sample. Our data holds its name and its house, not its notes, and we leave it at that. Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description. Warm skin and cool skin can bring out different sides, so try both if you can.

What is not on this page

The notes of Potion D'Inconnu are not in our files. That is not a judgement about the perfume, only about what we can state with certainty. Do not judge it next to other perfumes on the same arm, as they blur each other. Try it on a normal day, not only on a special one, to see whether it fits your routine.

On request

Potion D'Inconnu is not on the shelf as a sample yet. Leave your e-mail address in the form on this page and we know someone is waiting for it. When it can be filled, the sizes appear here. Smell it right after applying and again later in the day, because the first minutes rarely tell the whole story.

How the sample is made

A decant is perfume poured over from the original bottle into a smaller one. For Potion D'Inconnu that means a glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our label on it. Three sizes mean you decide how long you want to test. A spray vial lets you apply it the way you would from the bottle, which a dab-on tube does not.

How to test it

With no season on file for Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu, the fair test is simply several different days. Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub. Test it on skin and not only on paper. Ask someone you trust what they notice, because your own nose adapts quickly.

Who it is for

No audience is on record for Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu, and a perfume does not check who wears it anyway. If you are choosing a gift, testing it yourself first tells you what you are giving. If you already know the house, a decant lets you check whether this one fits next to what you own.

Why try Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu as a sample first

Trying before owning saves shelf space and regret. To be clear, this is not an official brand sample. FragranceGems decants it from the original bottle and puts its own label on the vial; Mayhap plays no role. What reads as sweet on one person can read as dry on another.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. The vial carries our own label, so it is a decant and not a sample made by the brand.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Mayhap Potion D'Inconnu, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

Can I try Potion D'Inconnu next to other samples?
Yes, and it helps. Wear one perfume per day, or one per arm at most, so the scents do not blur. Short notes after each wearing make the choice easier.
