penhaligons-the-omniscient-mr-thompson-sample
Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson Sample

The Omniscient Mr Thompson is a perfume from Penhaligon's. No note list is on record with us for this perfume, and we do not guess one. A decant gives you time with it, which a quick spray on a paper strip never does. Your own nose gets used to a scent quickly, so ask someone near you what they notice.

Without a pyramid

For Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson no note list is on record with us. We only print notes we can trace to a source, so this page names none; wear it and judge. Write down what you notice after a few minutes and again after lunch, and you will see how it moves.

How on request works

For now, Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson can only be asked for. The form on this page records your interest in this perfume, and we make no promise about timing. Try it on a normal day, not only on a special one, to see whether it fits your routine.

The vial

For this sample, FragranceGems takes The Omniscient Mr Thompson from the original bottle and fills a glass spray vial with it. The label on the vial is ours. The smallest size covers a first impression, the largest gives you many wearings.

How to test it

We have no tags that say when Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson fits best, which leaves the choice to you. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Leave other perfumes off that day, so nothing interferes.

Who it is for

There is no audience on file for The Omniscient Mr Thompson, which leaves it open to anyone curious. If Penhaligon's is new to you, a small vial is a calm way to get acquainted. People who tire of scents quickly do well with small sizes.

Why try Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson as a sample first

You learn more from three wearings of Penhaligon's The Omniscient Mr Thompson than from thirty opinions about it. What you get is a decant made by FragranceGems from the original bottle, with our label. The house is not involved and it is not an official brand sample.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes.
