serge-lutens-parole-deau-sample
Serge Lutens Parole d'eau Sample

This is Serge Lutens Parole d'eau, a perfume by Serge Lutens, offered here as a sample. Its notes are not in our files, and we would rather say so than fill the gap. With 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial you can find out how it behaves on your skin, at your own pace. Notice how close it stays to the skin and how much of it others pick up.

Without a pyramid

The notes of Parole d'eau are not in our files. That is not a judgement about the perfume, only about what we can state with certainty. Try it on a normal day, not only on a special one, to see whether it fits your routine. Give it time to settle before you judge it.

Before it can be filled

This sample is listed on request, which means it is not filled yet. Use the form on this page to let us know you would like Parole d'eau, and we note it. One wearing shows a mood, several wearings show the perfume. Pay attention to what is still there by the evening, since that is the part you live with longest.

The sample itself

We fill Parole d'eau from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and label it ourselves. The sizes are 2, 5 or 10 ml. The vial closes tightly and fits in a pocket or bag, so you can test it wherever your day goes. The smallest size covers a first impression, the largest gives you many wearings.

How to test it

Nothing on record ties Parole d'eau to a season or a moment, and that makes a broad test the best one. Start light; you can always add a spray on the next wearing. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby.

Who it is for

Who Parole d'eau is aimed at is not on record with us. People who tire of scents quickly do well with small sizes. Anyone who reacts strongly to certain notes is wise to test on skin first. If Serge Lutens is new to you, a small vial is a calm way to get acquainted.

Why try Serge Lutens Parole d'eau as a sample first

Choosing a bottle unsmelled is a gamble, and a decant takes the gamble out of it. To be clear, this is not an official brand sample. FragranceGems decants it from the original bottle and puts its own label on the vial; Serge Lutens plays no role.

Frequently asked questions

What does the sample look like?
It is a small glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our own label on it. It sprays like a bottle, so you apply Parole d'eau the way you normally would.

Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Serge Lutens Parole d'eau, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.

Will Parole d'eau be the same on me as on someone else?
Probably not exactly. Skin, weather and the amount you apply all change how a perfume comes across, which is the reason to wear Serge Lutens Parole d'eau yourself before deciding.
