Raspberry first
The recorded opening is raspberry alone. Fruit in a top note can come across as tart and bright or as jammy and sweet, and which one you get depends on what sits beneath it. Spray once and notice which way it leans in the first minutes, before the rose arrives.

Rose in the middle
The heart is rose. Next to raspberry a rose can turn lush and almost fruity, and later it may drift toward something more classic and powdery or toward something darker. Watch for the point where the berry fades and the floral takes the lead.

Leather underneath
The base is leather. It lends a soft, supple, slightly smoky feel to a fruity floral start, and it is the part most likely to divide opinion. Go back to your wrist once the top has gone and decide whether the leather feels elegant, heavy or simply right for you.
