Khadlaj calls itself a perfume manufacturer in the UAE and traces its start to 1997. Its catalogue is organised in named lines, among them Karus, Shiyaaka, Onyx, Island, Velvet, Empire and La Fede, and the house sums up its style as traditional, inventive and luxurious at once, Arab culture combined with fragrance technology. FragranceGems adds that the range leans on warm oriental scents and musk.

Khadlaj Shiyaaka Sky is the fresh one: verbena, bergamot and mandarin over a green accord, neroli, orange blossom and geranium, on honey, musk and sandalwood. Khadlaj Karus Gold Absolu is the sweet one, candied lemon, blackcurrant and bergamot over praline, magnolia and violet. Khadlaj Onyx Silver sets black pepper, bergamot and ginger over cardamom and petitgrain, on benzoin, labdanum and patchouli. Khadlaj Island pairs pineapple with coconut; Khadlaj Island Dreams is ginger and grapefruit on musk.
