About Riiffs

Fine perfumery, two labels

On its own site Riiffs speaks of fragrances made from natural ingredients for people who value quality, creativity and individuality, and sorts the catalogue by note families from oud and leather to gourmand and fresh. Nusuk appears next to Riiffs as a brand of the same house. FragranceGems adds what the site does not stress: the bottles are elaborate, and the perfumes are built to be noticed.

Ice, then flames

Riiffs Freeze opens with spearmint, Calabrian bergamot, lemon zest, grapefruit and a snow accord, keeps the cold going with ice cubes, ginger, tea and sage and ends on peony, Ambermax and cedar. Riiffs Freeze In Flames, an Extrait de Parfum, adds fruit: raspberry, snowflakes, passion fruit and red apple over lavender, tea and sage, on cedar, musk and amber. Riiffs Seasons Drift and Riiffs Seasons Rise are the warmer pair: one woody with pink pepper and clary sage, one gourmand with caramel and cinnamon.
