Bergamot, ginger, orange and lemon
The top is made of citrus, bergamot, orange and lemon, with ginger added for warmth. It is a bright, clean opening. Because three of the four notes are citrus, it should feel crisp first and then warm up as the ginger comes forward, so give it a few minutes before judging.

Neroli, cinnamon, black tea and biga flower
The heart blends neroli, a clean orange-blossom floral, with cinnamon for spice, black tea for a dry, slightly tannic note and a note called biga flower. This is the most layered stretch, and the stage where the sample tells you the most about whether the tea and spice combination suits you.

Guaiac wood, musk, cedarwood and Lorenox
The base has guaiac wood, musk and cedarwood, with Lorenox as named in the recorded list. Guaiac and cedar give a dry, smoky wood, and musk keeps it close. Smell your wrist in the evening and see whether the dry wood fits the lively opening or whether you wanted more sweetness.

Apply the decant on clean skin on a mild day, as FragranceGems tags it for spring and summer, and wear it to work or for an evening. Smell it at the start, when the tea and cinnamon arrive and in the evening when the wood remains. A second day lets you check how the citrus behaves in warmer or cooler weather.
Who it is for
For people who like a fresh citrus extrait with some spice and tea in it, and who want a dry woody finish rather than a sweet one. FragranceGems lists it as unisex. If you prefer your citrus perfumes light and simple, the sample shows quickly whether this layered build is more than you need.

What is the Inception sample?
The sample is 10 ml of Inception in a glass spray vial, decanted by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by our team. Mykonos belongs to the houses that FragranceGems runs itself, so the decant stays within our own range.
Is it a fresh perfume?
It opens fresh with bergamot, orange and lemon, and ends dry with guaiac wood and cedarwood. In between sit neroli, cinnamon and black tea. The sample shows how that arc feels on you.
Is it for work?
FragranceGems tags it for work, daily wear and evenings, in spring and summer. Wearing the decant on a normal working day is the most direct test.

Mykonos is an Indonesian perfume house with a Mediterranean name. Its motto is "Born in Indonesia. Built for the world", the perfumes are produced in Indonesia and most of them are Extrait de Parfum, with a few Eau de Parfum. The range in Europe counts 49 perfumes across six scent families.
