Spice and orange zest
Clove, nutmeg, pink pepper and orange zest start the perfume, with vanilla already present from the first spray. The spices give a dry warmth and the zest a thin line of brightness before the smoke arrives. Vanilla sitting in the top is unusual, so notice how early it shows.

Smoke, pepper and burnt sugar
In the heart, smoked wood meets pepper, guaiac wood and burnt brown sugar. This is the stage that gives the perfume its fireside idea: dark wood and caramelised sugar sitting together. How smoky it feels depends on skin, so give it time.

Marshmallow, caramel and vanilla
The base repeats smoked wood and vanilla and adds marshmallow and caramel. The result is soft and sweet at the very end, with the smoke remaining underneath. If you enjoy dessert-like warmth, this is the part to wait for.

Wear it on a cool evening, since FragranceGems files it as strong and for autumn and winter, and use less than you think you need. Notice how the clove opening gives way to smoke, then to caramel. A second try indoors and outdoors shows whether the smoke feels cosy or heavy to you.
Who it is for
For people who like gourmand, oriental and woody perfumes and want a sweet one with a smoky side instead of plain vanilla. If marshmallow and caramel sound too sugary, the smoked wood and pepper in the middle may offset them, and the sample will tell you.

Is it very sweet?
Vanilla, burnt brown sugar, marshmallow and caramel are all recorded, so sweetness is central. Smoked wood, clove and pepper are there to temper it, and the sample shows how the balance falls on you.
Is the smoke heavy?
Smoked wood appears in both the heart and the base, so smoke is a theme and not a hint. FragranceGems rates the intensity as strong, so apply lightly the first time.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
