Cinnamon cut by bergamot
Cinnamon and bergamot open the perfume with warmth and sparkle. The cinnamon is hot and sweet, the bergamot cuts across it with fresh citrus oil, and the result is a direct, inviting start that FragranceGems calls vital and intense.

Bourbon vanilla, ambroxan and praline
The heart pairs bourbon vanilla and praline with ambroxan. Vanilla is dark and creamy, praline sweet and nutty, and ambroxan gives a modern, airy glow so the sweetness does not feel flat. This is the core of the perfume.

Amber, woods, musk and heliotrope
Amber, woody notes, musk and heliotrope close the perfume. Heliotrope adds a powdery, almond-like softness, amber warmth and the woods a solid frame, with musk smoothing everything into the skin. The finish is sensual and rounded.

Is it too sweet?

What exactly will I receive?
FragranceGems decants the perfume from the original bottle into a 10 ml glass spray vial, and the label on the vial is ours, so there is no doubt about what is inside.
What is heliotrope?
A note that FragranceGems describes with powdery, almond-like tones. Here it sits in the base beside amber, woody notes and musk, and it is the last note you meet.

Velixir is a young perfume house from Indonesia, founded in 2025, that says it wants to "redefine accessible luxury in modern perfumery" and bring Indonesian perfumery to a global stage. The perfumes are Eau de Parfum and carry names from mythology: Icarus, Asteria, Aphrodite, Persephone, Poseidon. Because the range is wide and the names say little about the scent, a few samples side by side are the quickest way in.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
