Cardamom opens alone. FragranceGems calls it an aromatic, exotic start that brings immediate warmth and a touch of mystique. A single top note means no citrus to hide behind, so the spice sets the tone from the first moment.

Honey meets rose
Honey and rose form the heart. According to FragranceGems the natural sweetness of honey melts into the rose to make a heart that is deep and complex. Honey can turn waxy or animalic on some skins, which makes this the stage to watch.

Oud and amber
Oud and amber make the base, which FragranceGems calls rich and earthy. Oud brings the dark, woody side, amber the warm, resinous glow. Together they decide whether the honey stays golden or turns heavy. It is a short base, so each of the two notes is easy to follow.

Honey is the main sweet note, softened by rose and set against oud and amber. FragranceGems tags it gourmand, oriental and woody, so expect warmth and sweetness with a dark floor.
Is the oud smoky?
Oud is recorded in the base alongside amber, and FragranceGems calls that base rich and earthy rather than smoky. How it feels to you, resinous, woody or smoky, is what the sample is for.

Its own site was not reachable for us, so this page keeps to FragranceGems' data. Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
