About Surrati
An established house, three directions
FragranceGems places Surrati among the established Arabian houses, known for warm oriental perfumes as well as oils. The three samples sold here pull in different directions: Surrati Atlantis and Surrati Dream Valley are citrus florals on musk and amber, one listed for men and one for women, while Surrati Honey Oud is the dense, sweet oud scent the name promises. Testing all three gives a fair sketch of the house.

Surrati Atlantis opens with citrus and bergamot, turns to rose and woody notes and ends on musk and amber. Surrati Dream Valley starts with bergamot, lemon and mint, moves to rose, jasmine and orange blossom and settles on amber, sandalwood and musk. Surrati Honey Oud begins with cardamom, lets honey and rose carry the heart and finishes on oud, amber and spices. The first two are spring and summer perfumes; the third belongs to cold evenings.

Is Surrati Honey Oud very sweet?
The heart is honey and rose, so yes at first; the oud, amber and spices in the base dry it out over the day. That shift is the reason to wear a sample from morning to evening before deciding.
Are these Surrati samples issued by the house?
No. FragranceGems fills each sample from the original Surrati bottle into a glass spray vial and labels it by hand. It is our decant; the house is not involved, and we are not affiliated with the brand.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
