Two citrus fruits
Bergamot and mandarin give a clear, energetic start, one a little dry and floral, the other round and sweet. This is the cool, bright part of the perfume and also the quickest. Let it settle for a few minutes and see what remains.

Pepper, nutmeg and neroli
In the heart, pink pepper and nutmeg add a warm, spicy edge, while neroli brings an orange-blossom softness. The contrast keeps the citrus from feeling thin. If you like your fresh perfumes with a little grown-up spice, this is where this one shows it.

Cardamom and vetiver
The base is made of cardamom and vetiver. Vetiver gives a green, earthy and dry foundation, and cardamom adds a lightly exotic character on top of it. It is the driest of the three stages and the one worth wearing through an afternoon.

Wear Shiyaaka Snow on a bright spring or summer day, to the office or the gym, on clean skin. Check the citrus right away, the spice and neroli once the first minutes have passed, and the vetiver later in the day. Wear it twice before you decide, because fresh perfumes can seem different in different weather.

Khadlaj Perfumes was founded in 1997 and is based in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, where it manufactures its own perfumes. The house describes its range as a mix of rich oud compositions, floral pieces and contemporary fresh perfumes, sorted into lines such as Karus, Shiyaaka and Onyx. Among the Khadlaj Eau de Parfum that FragranceGems carries as samples are one from each of those three lines plus two from Island.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
