Candied lemon, blackcurrant, bergamot
The opening mixes the sugar of candied lemon with the tart depth of blackcurrant and the clean edge of bergamot. It should feel sweet and sour at once. Spray once and see whether the sugar or the tartness reaches you first.

Praline between flowers
Praline gives the heart a nutty, caramelised sweetness, while magnolia and violet add a soft, slightly powdery floral frame. That contrast between gourmand and floral is what the perfume is about, so smell your skin again here.

A clean musk and vetiver end
Musk and vetiver close the perfume, one soft and skin-like, the other dry and earthy. They should take the edge off the sweetness that came before. Check later in the day whether the ending feels tidy or whether the sweetness lingers for you.

The house describes its range as a mix of rich oud compositions, floral pieces and contemporary fresh perfumes, sorted into lines such as Karus, Shiyaaka and Onyx. Among the Khadlaj Eau de Parfum that FragranceGems carries as samples are one from each of those three lines plus two from Island.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
