How to test them

Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide. Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub. Check it after a few minutes, around midday and in the evening.

Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description. Give every sample its own day, and come back to the one you keep thinking about. Start with 2, 5 or 10 ml and give it a few days, so that the first impression is not the only one.

Questions

Are these samples made by the brands?

No. They are decants: FragranceGems fills each one from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and labels it. They are not official brand samples.

How many samples should I try at once?

Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.

Why do some perfumes show no notes?

Because we only print notes we can trace to a source. Where no note list is on record, the page says so and leaves the judging to your own skin.
