How to test them

Start light; you can always add a spray on the next wearing. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby.

Start with 2, 5 or 10 ml and give it a few days, so that the first impression is not the only one. Two or three samples at a time is plenty; more than that and the impressions blur. Skin, weather and habit change how any perfume comes across, and a sample shows you your version of it.

Which sizes do the samples come in?

Every sample comes as 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial. The smallest is enough for a first impression, the larger ones for many wearings.

How many samples should I try at once?

Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.

What is a decant?

Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
