Which Ibraheem Al Qurashi sample to try first

Ibraheem Al Qurashi, labelled IBRAQ, is known here mainly for a tobacco series. Four Eau de Parfum samples, ordered by how often they are chosen, with a note map.

Ibraheem Al Qurashi Brazilian Tobacco sample

Ibraheem Al Qurashi is a perfume house that FragranceGems describes as renowned for refined oriental scents and oud compositions, elegant and rooted in tradition. We have not found a brand site with facts we can quote, so this guide rests on that description and on FragranceGems product data. The perfumes sold as samples carry the house's short form IBRAQ in their names, and three of the four belong to a tobacco series, one from each of three countries. Tobacco is a note that divides people, so an Ibraheem Al Qurashi sample is simply sensible before a bottle.

Ibraheem Al Qurashi: four samples, ordered by how often they are chosen

We ordered the four by how often FragranceGems customers order each sample. Brazilian Tobacco and French Tobacco are tied at the front, and the other two are ordered more rarely so far, which says little about the perfumes. All four are Eau de Parfum, and notes are given as recorded by FragranceGems.

Brazilian Tobacco (2023) is the strongest of the series. Bergamot, red pepper, pink pepper and lavender open it, tobacco, oud, cedarwood and cherry form the heart, and leather, patchouli and vetiver close. FragranceGems files it under oriental and woody for evenings and the colder seasons. Tobacco, oud and leather are character-heavy notes, so trying a little first is wise.

French Tobacco (2023) is brighter. Mandarin, blood orange and green apple open it, ginger, neroli, cinnamon and tobacco form the heart, and lemongrass, frankincense, guaiac wood and iris finish. It is the one listed for daily wear and for work as well as evenings. Tobacco in perfume means very different things to different noses, and this is the fresher way into it.

Spanish Tobacco (2023) is the sweet, strong one, filed under gourmand, oriental and woody. Aquatic notes, tonka bean and saffron open it, tobacco, cocoa and amber form the heart, and iris and woody notes close. Water notes beside tobacco and cocoa make an unusual pairing.

White Regent Diamond (2025) leaves tobacco aside. Sandalwood, cardamom, tea and fig open it, iris and vetiver form a powdery heart, and tonka bean, vanilla and patchouli rest underneath. FragranceGems lists it for daily wear, evenings and work, and it is the calmest of the four.

The Ibraheem Al Qurashi note map

Tobacco is the heart note of Brazilian, French and Spanish Tobacco, and each places it in a different setting: oud and cherry, ginger and neroli, cocoa and amber. Iris links French Tobacco, Spanish Tobacco and White Regent Diamond. Tonka bean links Spanish Tobacco and White Regent Diamond, and patchouli and vetiver link Brazilian Tobacco and White Regent Diamond. Brazilian Tobacco carries leather and oud alone, French Tobacco frankincense, and Spanish Tobacco saffron. Follow the threads through tobacco, iris, tonka and oud, or browse Arabic perfume samples.

A fair first pair is Brazilian Tobacco and French Tobacco, worn on separate days, because the cherry and oud of the first and the apple and cinnamon of the second ask for different weather. Add White Regent Diamond if tobacco is not your note. All four are listed for autumn and winter, so evening samples and winter samples are natural companions, and the oud guide covers the oud side. How to test perfume on skin gives a simple routine.

From Ibraheem Al Qurashi sample to bottle

If one of the four is still on your mind after several wearings, the bottle is the next step. Our vial is filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; Ibraheem Al Qurashi is not involved and it is not a brand sample. The first perfume in full size is at Ibraheem Al Qurashi Brazilian Tobacco. The sample set page shows how to combine vials, and the FAQ covers filling and labels.

FAQ

Which Ibraheem Al Qurashi sample should I try first?

Brazilian Tobacco. It is tied with French Tobacco as the most ordered sample of the house, and its tobacco, oud, cedarwood and cherry over leather, patchouli and vetiver show the darker side of the series.

What does IBRAQ mean?

IBRAQ is the short form of Ibraheem Al Qurashi used in the perfume names on FragranceGems. On this site we write the full house name, and the vial label carries the perfume name and concentration.

What if I do not like tobacco?

Try White Regent Diamond. It is the one of the four without tobacco, with sandalwood, cardamom, tea and fig over iris and vetiver, on tonka bean, vanilla and patchouli.
