Orto Parisi is named after a garden: that of Vincenzo Parisi, grandfather of the perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, which the brand says gave rise to the project. From there comes the manifesto of the house, the body as a garden whose smells mirror the soul. The Nose, as Gualtieri signs, does not reveal his notes, so each Parfum comes with a short text and nothing more. To know Megamare or Terroni you have to wear it, and a 10 ml decant lets you.

Where to start without a pyramid
Megamare is the sea itself in the brand's telling: an indomitable depth that needs no explanation. Terroni is about soil, putting your hands in the earth and the roots that shape a character. Bergamask is described as a perfume extract that reveals itself very slowly, a story of attraction and repulsion. Cuoium is the house's tribute to natural materials and the legacy of leather. Darkness, green, awakening
Boccanera is a fragrance covered in darkness that steals a kiss and leaves a spicy aftertaste. Viride has a robust green character, like a cultivated garden of herbs. Seminalis is built around an aromatic aldehyde, Stercus around a secret sweetness and an animalic side. Risvelium is the scent of awakening, and Brutus stands for a stability that steals time. Caps of horn, stone and shell
Every cap is hand-finished metal inlaid with a natural material the brand describes: a seashell from Haiti on Megamare, volcanic stone on Terroni, black horn from Ethiopia and Somalia on Boccanera. All ten perfumes are sold as Parfum and the product pages state Made in Italy. Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
