Roja Parfums was founded in Mayfair, London, in 2011 by Roja Dove and calls itself a house of haute perfumery. The formulas are long: a single pyramid can run to twenty or thirty notes, from citrus and lavender through roses and jasmine to tobacco, resins and oud. Most perfumes exist as an Eau de Parfum and as a Parfum. Compositions this layered unfold slowly and differently on each skin, so a 10 ml decant worn over several days is the fair test.

About Roja Parfums
Four Roja samples to start with
Elysium Pour Homme is fresh: grapefruit, lemon, lavender and thyme over apple and blackcurrant, on vetiver, cedarwood and leather. Enigma Pour Homme, a Parfum, wraps cognac and tobacco in benzoin, vanilla and heliotrope. Burlington 1819, named after the arcade of the flagship boutique, sets grapefruit, lime and mint against ginger, rum and patchouli. Isola Blu is the Mediterranean: citrus, lavender and thyme into apple, coconut and champaca.
Aouds, a chypré and a forest
Amber Aoud joins rose, saffron and oud to benzoin and fig, a balance the house calls the Amber Aoud Effect. Sweetie Aoud is its gourmand cousin, a patisserie accord and rose over aoud wood and frankincense. Diaghilev, a tribute to the Ballet Russes founder, is a chypré of citrus and tarragon, a floral heart and oakmoss. A Midsummer Dream is a mossy forest floor with grapefruit and cardamom, Manhattan lavender and basil over tobacco and vanilla.

The house says its fragrances are made in England and presents them in crystal-adorned bottles; the range is grouped into collections such as Elysium, Aoud, Isola and Apex. We decant both concentrations the house uses, Eau de Parfum and Parfum, depending on the perfume. Our decants are filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; they are not official brand samples, and the house is not involved.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
