Fascent is a young French house whose first perfumes arrived in 2023, co-founded by Fanny Fortin Descamps and Edwina Réthoré after years at Guerlain, Firmenich, Le Labo and Diptyque. The name fuses 'facets' and 'scent', every perfume is unisex and each one is meant to be worn alone or layered with another. Playful names hide precise, modern formulas: hazelnut milk, fig leaf, beetroot and iris, sea salt. A few 10 ml decants are the easiest way to find your own combination.

Which Fascent samples to try first
Milky No Way, by Elise Pierre, is the one to begin with: black pepper and hazelnut milk, a whipped-cream accord with tonka bean, then sandalwood, amber and cashmere wood. I Fig You is the green counterpart, green tea, sage and citrus over fig leaf on vetiver and cedar. Red Flag, from 2026, is a dark earthy iris with cardamom, ginger and a beetroot accord. Radical Softness is the clean musk: pink pepper, white tea, cyclamen and frangipani.
What to expect on skin
The co-founder has said the perfumes currently sit at 15% concentration, so they wear as moderate, modern eaux de parfum that stay readable rather than loud. The house suggests pairings on every product page: a creamy one over a green one, a salty one under a sweet one. Sel à Vie carries ylang-ylang and tiaré on sea salt and driftwood; Crème Brûlante is the vanilla, with almond balm and rum; L'Eau d'Or Dort is the clean citrus with linen.

The operating company sits in Roubaix, in the Lille area. Compositions are developed with CPL Aromas or DSM-Firmenich, mixing natural materials with selected synthetics; the brand states its perfumes are vegan and made without preservatives, dyes or UV filters. The 30 ml bottle is recycled glass, refilled from 20 ml ampoules. Our decants are filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; they are not official brand samples.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
