Cool and clear
The top reads like crushed leaves and fresh peel. Green tea adds a pale, faintly bitter freshness, sage a dry herbal note, and the citruses lift it all with a clean sharpness. Nothing here is sweet, and that is deliberate.

Leaf over fruit
Fig leaf is the green centre, closer to the leaf than to the fruit and slightly bitter. Carrot seeds sit below it with an earthy, dry, root-like texture. The heart stays light on its feet and keeps the green in focus instead of drifting into sweetness.

A dry, upright finish
Vetiver is earthy, grassy and dry, cedar clean and straight. In the base they hold the fresh opening in place and keep the finish calm and woody, with no sugar to soften it. The brand pitches the whole as botanical and grounding.

Fascent is a young French house whose first perfumes arrived in 2023, co-founded by Fanny Fortin Descamps and Edwina Réthoré after years at Guerlain, Firmenich, Le Labo and Diptyque. The name fuses 'facets' and 'scent', every perfume is unisex and each one is meant to be worn alone or layered with another. Playful names hide precise, modern formulas: hazelnut milk, fig leaf, beetroot and iris, sea salt. A few 10 ml decants are the easiest way to find your own combination.
