Green apple, ginger and bergamot
The opening gathers green apple, ginger and bergamot. The apple is crisp and slightly sour, ginger adds a warm, zesty bite and bergamot brings a clean citrus lift. Spray the decant once and notice how sharp or juicy the apple feels on your skin in the first minutes.

Clary sage and juniper
In the heart the record lists clary sage and juniper. Clary sage is herbal and softly sweet, and juniper adds a cool, gin-like, piney freshness. This is the stage where the fruit gives way to something aromatic and outdoorsy, so wait a little before deciding.

What is inside the Apollo vial?

What is olibanum?
Olibanum is another name for frankincense, the resin burned as incense. In Apollo it sits in the base with cedar and vetiver, where it adds a smoky, resinous, slightly spiritual character.
Is Apollo a fresh perfume?
The opening is fresh, with green apple, ginger and bergamot, but the base is woody and resinous. The scent family tags on FragranceGems read fresh, oriental and woody, which matches how it unfolds.

About Velixir
Velixir is a young perfume house from Indonesia, founded in 2025, that says it wants to "redefine accessible luxury in modern perfumery" and bring Indonesian perfumery to a global stage. The perfumes are Eau de Parfum and carry names from mythology: Icarus, Asteria, Aphrodite, Persephone, Poseidon. Because the range is wide and the names say little about the scent, a few samples side by side are the quickest way in.
