Start with the skin, not the name
Any name invites guesses, and guesses colour what you smell. Try to set them aside. Apply the perfume to a clean forearm, wait a few seconds and describe the scent in plain words such as sweet, dry, green or warm before you think about what it should be.

Keep a short note
Write down three words after the first minute, three after a longer wait and three the next morning from your sleeve. The changes between the lists tell you more than any single impression. If the words stay pleasant throughout, the perfume is a candidate for your collection.

Ask a plain question
At the end of the test ask whether you would be glad to smell this on yourself for an afternoon. A yes is enough. You do not need a pyramid to know that, and if the answer is no, the vial has saved you from a poor match.

Why are there no notes on this page?
We only publish notes that are recorded for the perfume. None are on file for Vulcan Baie, so we leave the list out instead of guessing.
How long should I test it?
Give it a full day if you can, checking the same spot in the morning, at midday and in the evening. A single sniff on paper says very little about how a perfume behaves on you.
Can I compare it with other samples?
Yes, but test one perfume per arm and per day if possible, so the scents do not blend. Clear impressions are worth more than a quick run through many vials.

The house says it wants to bring "the richness of Parisian fragrance to everyone" and describes its perfumes as premium blends that balance quality and value. Nineteen of them are here as samples, from the sweet Liquid Brun and Vulcan Feu to the icy Aromatix Platine Blanc. The range is broad, so sample first and let your skin sort it.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
