Check one: the first breath
Spray onto a clean forearm and breathe in once from about a hand's width away. Whatever you notice, whether sweet, sharp, soft or dry, is your opening note, and you can name it more accurately than any list. Put it in a single word and leave it there.

Check two: the middle of the day
Go back to the same spot once the first impression has gone quiet. The character you meet now is the one you will live with most of the time. Ask whether it has become warmer, thinner or rounder, and whether you still want to lean in.

Check three: the next morning
Smell your sleeve the following morning. What remains is the dry, quiet side of the perfume, and it often differs from what you noticed at first. If you still like it, add the perfume to your shortlist. If you are unsure, wear it once more.

How to test it
Wear it for two ordinary days on clean skin, once with a plain outfit and once for something more occasion-led, and keep any other scent away. The vial is meant to be carried and used, so take it with you. Make a note after each day, however short.
Who it is for
Khamrah Dukhan suits anyone who likes the idea of Lattafa and wants to test one of its perfumes without a note pyramid to lean on. It is also for people who prefer evidence to adjectives. Those who must read notes first will have to look elsewhere, because we have none to give.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
