The only description is the house's own: a perfume that grew out of a search for the effects of temporary bliss. That is a mood, nothing like a note, and it promises no effect at all. Because no composition is published, nothing about its materials is claimed anywhere on this page.

Most perfumes list a pyramid so that you can picture them. Nasomatto leaves it out for Black Afgano, so any description of the smell would be guesswork. Your skin is the only reference, and the first minute of wearing it will tell you little.

Yes. The house sells Black Afgano only as an Extrait de Parfum in 30 ml, and the decant is filled from that bottle.
What is the cap made of?
Burnt oak, according to the brand's own page. It belongs to the bottle and offers no hint about the scent.

Alessandro Gualtieri, the Italian perfumer known as The Nose, gives each perfume a sentence or two about the feeling or effect it aims for and leaves the rest to the wearer.
