How to test them
Start light; you can always add a spray on the next wearing. Check it after a few minutes, around midday and in the evening. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub.
A sample is the sensible first step: a perfume on paper and a perfume on skin are rarely the same thing. Keep short notes per perfume; after a week the choice usually makes itself. The small size, 2, 5 or 10 ml, is meant for exactly that: a few honest wearings before anything bigger.

Are these samples made by the brands?
No. They are decants: FragranceGems fills each one from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and labels it. They are not official brand samples.
How many samples should I try at once?
Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.
What is a decant?
Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
