Which Riiffs sample to try first
Riiffs is known for ornate bottles and for the cold, minty Freeze perfumes. Four samples with full notes, ordered by how often they are chosen, with a note map.
Riiffs calls its work The Art of Fine Perfumery and says it is crafted for connoisseurs. Its own site has versions for the UAE, the UK, the USA, India, Qatar and the Netherlands, sorts the catalogue by families from oud and leather to gourmand and fresh, and presents Nusuk as a second label of the same house. FragranceGems adds what the site does not stress: the bottles are ornate, and the perfumes are built to be noticed. Four of them have full note lists and are shown here, and a Riiffs sample is the easiest way to see which style you actually enjoy.
Riiffs: four samples, ordered by how often they are chosen
We ordered the Riiffs samples by how often FragranceGems customers order each one. Seasons Drift and Seasons Rise are ordered more rarely so far, which says little about the perfumes. The notes below are as FragranceGems has them on record. A sample also shows whether a cold perfume stays cold on your skin, or soon turns warmer.
Freeze In Flames is the most chosen, and the only Extrait here. The name describes the plan: raspberry, snowflakes, bergamot, passion fruit and red apple open it, lavender, spearmint, tea and sage form a fresh aromatic heart, and cedarwood, musk and amber make a warm woody base. A contrast that strong is easiest to judge by wearing it.

Freeze is an Eau de Parfum built on cold images. Green mint, Calabrian bergamot, lemon zest, grapefruit and snow open it, ice cubes, ginger, tea and sage continue the chill, and peony, Ambermax and cedar finish. Perfumes that lean this hard on freshness can feel crisp on one skin and thin on another.

Seasons Drift is the warmer, woody one, listed for women and for all four seasons. Lemon zest, pink pepper and grapefruit open it, cedar, clary sage and ginger form the heart, and sandalwood, labdanum, resin and amber settle underneath.

Seasons Rise is sweet by design: nutmeg, pink pepper, orange blossom and orris on top, caramel, toffee, cinnamon and clary sage in the heart, and cashmeran, amber, praline filling, ambroxan and vanilla pod at the base. It is the one for cold evenings.

Golden Elixir Extrait completes the five, but FragranceGems has no note list for it, so it is not shown.
The Riiffs note map
Tea and sage run through both cold perfumes, and mint appears in each as green mint or spearmint. Bergamot opens both of them too. Pink pepper links Seasons Drift and Seasons Rise, clary sage does the same, and amber appears in Freeze In Flames, Seasons Drift and Seasons Rise, with Ambermax in Freeze. Ginger sits in Freeze and Seasons Drift, and cedar in three of the four. Follow the threads through mint, ginger, amber and caramel, or browse every Extrait sample.
A good first order is Freeze In Flames for the cold side and Seasons Rise for the warm one. Mint and tea read very differently in the first minutes and after lunch, so test the cold pair on separate days. Summer samples and winter samples show where each of the four fits, and how to test perfume on skin gives a simple routine. Which sample size helps you decide how much to order.
From Riiffs sample to bottle
If one of these keeps returning to mind after several wearings, the bottle is the next step. Our vial is filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; Riiffs is not involved and it is not a brand sample. The first perfume in full size is at Riiffs Freeze In Flames. The sample set page shows how to combine vials, and the FAQ covers filling and labels.
FAQ
Which Riiffs sample should I try first?
Freeze In Flames. It is the Riiffs sample FragranceGems customers order most, and as an Extrait with raspberry, passion fruit and red apple over lavender, spearmint and tea it is the most distinctive of the four.
Is Freeze In Flames an Extrait?
Yes. Freeze In Flames is an Extrait de Parfum, while Freeze, Seasons Drift and Seasons Rise are Eau de Parfum. The concentration is written on the label of each vial.
Why is Golden Elixir Extrait not shown here?
FragranceGems has no note list or description for it, so we have nothing sourced to show. It is on our shelf as a sample, and for a perfume like that, wearing it is the only research.
