Which Afnan sample to try first
Afnan is an Emirati house with many collections. Two samples with full note lists to start with, and how to approach the two that have none yet.
Afnan Perfumes was founded in 2007 in the United Arab Emirates by Imran Fazlani, who still chairs the house, with Zaid Fazlani as CEO. The house says it is present in more than 120 countries and describes fragrance as something that should be expressive, memorable, and unafraid. Its collections are many: Supremacy, Bouquet, 9AM and 9PM, Turathi, Ornament, Modest, Edict, Souvenir, Mirsaal, Highness, Lynked, Portrait, Historic, Tribute, Rare and Kiaana among them. With a catalogue that wide, an Afnan sample tells you which collection is worth your attention.
Two samples to start with
FragranceGems lists four Afnan Eau de Parfum as samples. We ordered them by how often customers order each sample, which puts two at the front, tied, and both have a full note list to read along with. We show only perfumes for which the notes are on record.
Supremacy Collectors Edition is filed for men under citrus and woody. It opens with pineapple, bergamot, apple and white flowers, moves to birch wood, amber and orange blossom in the heart, and ends on oak moss, musk and ambergris. The list travels a long way for one perfume: fruit first, then wood and flowers, then a mossy, musky finish. That is why a decant makes sense, because the stage that matters most to you may be the last one.

Lynked Freedom, from the Lynked collection, is also filed for men and tagged citrus, fresh and gourmand. Bergamot, grapefruit and sage open it, lavender, cardamom and juniper form the heart, and oriental notes, caramel and vetiver close. A fresh aromatic top above a sweet base is hard to judge from a note list alone, since it depends on how much of the caramel your skin brings forward.

Two more, without a note list
Supremacy Silver and Turathi Blue Electric are on our shelf too. FragranceGems has no note list for either, no concentration and no description, and we do not fill that gap with guesses. For perfumes like these the sample is the research: wear it on a quiet day, write down what you notice after the opening has settled, and decide from that. They are not shown above because we have nothing sourced to show beside them.
The Afnan note map
With two perfumes the map is short, which makes it clear. Bergamot opens both. Supremacy Collectors Edition adds apple, pineapple and white flowers, then wood, amber and orange blossom, and settles on moss, musk and ambergris, a mossy, musky end. Lynked Freedom adds grapefruit and sage, then lavender, cardamom and juniper, and settles on caramel and vetiver, a sweeter and greener end. Follow the shared thread through bergamot, the sweet end through caramel, and the herbal heart through lavender and musk. The citrus samples and Arabic perfume samples let you set both next to other houses.
Both are listed for warmer months, one for spring and summer, the other for summer and winter, so summer samples is a good companion. For a routine, see how to test perfume on skin, and niche, designer or Arabic places Afnan among the other families.
From Afnan sample to bottle
If one of these stays with you through several wearings, the bottle is the next step. Our vial is filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; Afnan is not involved and it is not a brand sample. The first perfume in full size is at Afnan Supremacy Collectors Edition. The sample set page shows how to combine vials, and the FAQ covers filling and labels.
FAQ
Which Afnan sample should I try first?
Supremacy Collectors Edition. It is the Afnan sample FragranceGems customers order most, tied with Lynked Freedom, and its pineapple, bergamot, apple and white flowers over oak moss, musk and ambergris show a woody side of the house.
Why do Supremacy Silver and Turathi Blue Electric have no notes here?
FragranceGems has not recorded a note list for either. We publish notes only when we have them from the house or from the product record, so for these two the vial is the description.
Do Supremacy Collectors Edition and Lynked Freedom suit the same wearer?
They are different moods. One moves from fruit and white flowers to moss and ambergris, the other from sage and citrus to caramel and vetiver. Wear them on separate days and see which you reach for.
