Thyme and anise on a citrus start
Bergamot opens the perfume with its bright peel, and thyme and anise add a green, faintly sweet herbal streak. It is a crisp beginning built from herbs as much as from fruit, so do not expect a plain lemon freshness. Smell it right after spraying, because this opening carries the cool impression the name promises.

Geranium, blossom and lavandin
The heart blends geranium, an orange blossom accord and lavandin. Geranium is leafy and a little rosy, orange blossom is soft and sunny, and lavandin keeps a clean, camphor-tinged lavender character running through. It reads as neat and tidy rather than showy.

A base of musks and aromatic accords
Musk, white musk and aromatic accords close the perfume. Doubled musk makes for a soft, smooth, laundered-skin finish, and the aromatic accords keep a trace of the herbal opening alive. If clean and quiet is what you want, the drydown is where you will find out.

How to test it
Spray the decant on bare skin on a warm day and smell it a few minutes in, then again as the herbs fade and the musks come forward. Compare it once on a cooler evening, because FragranceGems also lists autumn and winter. Wearing it on two different days tells you more than one sniff.

Does it smell cold like menthol?
The recorded notes name herbs, blossom and musk, not mint or menthol. The cool impression comes from thyme, anise and lavandin, and how strong it feels is something your skin settles.
Is it a summer-only perfume?
FragranceGems records it for summer, autumn and winter alike. A decant lets you wear it in warm weather and again on a colder day, so you can see where it works best for you.
What is the white musk for?
White musk, together with the plain musk, forms the soft base. It makes the finish smooth and clean instead of sweet, and a sample shows how long that quiet finish suits you.
