Saffron and spices make a bold, exotic start, in FragranceGems wording. Saffron has a distinctive, slightly metallic warmth. Notice how it feels in the first minutes, because this opening is quite different from the usual fresh start and sets expectations for what follows.

Rose and incense
The heart brings floral elegance and spiritual depth, as FragranceGems puts it, by joining rose with incense. Rose softens the spices, while incense adds a resinous, smoky character. This blend of flowers and smoke is the heart of the perfume and well worth following on your skin.

The base combines oud, amber, patchouli and sandalwood into a deep, resinous finish. Oud is dark and woody, sandalwood creamy, patchouli earthy and amber warm. With four base notes the finish is full, so give it time before you decide whether it feels rich or heavy.

How to test it
Wear it on an evening in colder weather, on clean skin, and keep the amount modest. Smell your wrist at the start, again later in the evening and, if possible, the next morning. A second wearing in a different setting tells you whether the oud feels regal or simply too much.

For anyone drawn to rich oriental perfumes with oud, saffron and rose, worn on autumn and winter evenings or at special occasions. It is filed as unisex and strong. If you usually choose light, fresh scents, the sample shows quickly whether this level of depth suits you.
Why try Bujairami Imperial Oud as a sample first

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
