Blackcurrant, bergamot and lemon
The opening sets blackcurrant against bergamot and lemon, a dark berry next to bright citrus. It should smell tart and juicy rather than sugary. These first minutes are lively, so judge them as an introduction and wait for the heart before deciding anything.

Praline, musk and violet
In the heart, praline brings a soft, nutty sweetness, violet adds a powdery touch, and musk keeps everything smooth. This is where the scent changes character from sharp to rounded. It is the stage to watch closely on the first wearing, because the shift is the whole point of the composition.

Black amber, cedar and vetiver
The base uses black amber with cedarwood and vetiver. Cedar and vetiver are dry and slightly earthy, and the amber adds depth. After a while on the skin you will see whether this dry finish balances the sweet heart for you, or whether you would have wanted the sweetness to stay.
