Starting with citrus
Citrus is the first family named for Mayfair, and citrus perfumes tend to be loudest in the opening minutes. Spray once on the wrist and note whether it feels sharp, juicy or soft. Since we hold no top notes, whatever you pick out is your own record.

Where the fruit comes in
Fruity is the second family listed. Fruit in perfume can be sweet and ripe, tart and green, or almost dry, depending on what surrounds it. Give the perfume ten or fifteen minutes and notice if the fruit appears alongside the citrus or replaces it.

What stays behind
Later in the day, smell the wrist or your sleeve again. Citrus and fruit usually fade first, and what is left shows the real foundation of the perfume. We hold no base notes to compare, so write down what you smell and judge whether it still fits the opening.

How to test it
Wear Mayfair on clean skin on an ordinary day, ideally in mild weather where citrus and fruit have room to breathe. Use one spray at first and add a second on the next trial if you want more. Jot down a word at the start, at midday and in the evening, and compare them afterwards.
Who it is for
This decant is for anyone who likes citrus and fruity perfumes and wants to see what Mykonos offers in that direction. It also suits people who already know other Mykonos perfumes and want to place this one among them. If you need a published note pyramid first, we do not hold one for Mayfair.

About Mykonos
Mykonos is an Indonesian perfume house with a Mediterranean name. Its motto is "Born in Indonesia. Built for the world", the perfumes are produced in Indonesia and most of them are Extrait de Parfum, with a few Eau de Parfum. The range in Europe counts 49 perfumes across six scent families. A sample is the easiest way to find out which of those families suits your skin before you choose a 50 ml or 100 ml bottle.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
