Moonflower, incense, jasmine and tuberose are listed on top. White flowers and a dry, smoky incense meet from the first moment, so the opening is closer to evening than to morning. See whether the flowers or the incense speaks first on your skin.

Vanilla among leaves
Hazelnut leaves, vanilla, guaiac wood, nutmeg and white flowers fill the heart. Vanilla is central, as the name suggests, and the leaves, nutmeg and guaiac keep it from being a plain sweet note. This is the part to judge for sweetness.

Resin and wood
The finish brings ambrostar, cedarwood, olibanum and white rose. Resin and wood give it a dry, quiet depth, and the white rose keeps a floral thread running to the end. It is the darkest part of the story and the part you carry home.

Is Luvani sweet?
Sweetness is there, as vanilla sits at the centre and the name joins moonflower with vanilla. Incense, guaiac wood, nutmeg and cedarwood keep it from being only that.
Is the decant made by Pernoire?
No. FragranceGems takes the Extrait from the original 50 ml bottle and fills a glass spray vial under its own label. Pernoire does not take part.

About Pernoire
Pernoire is a young Swiss house: two childhood friends, Robin Dünner and Nico Mannino, founded it in 2020 and develop every composition with the perfumer Andreas Wilhelm. Each perfume is an Extrait de Parfum, at 25% in the Anima line or 30% in Odus, and each is named after an idea or its key notes: Anelo for pineapple and pomelo, Poka for popcorn and caramel. At these concentrations a few wearings from a 10 ml decant tell you whether a perfume is yours.
