Bright against smoky
The top has key lime, black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, cumin and smoked prunes. The lime and tea are sharp and clean, the prunes dark and smoky, and cumin adds a dry, skin-like spice. A first test is how you react to the two sides at once, since this is the contradiction the brand sets out.

Violet, iris, oud, cypriol
The heart holds violet and iris, both powdery and cool, beside oud and cypriol, which are smoky, resinous and dark. The soft and the hard sit next to each other. It is the stage that decides whether Amoral feels refined or rough on you, and it takes some patience.

Sweet orange blossom, amber, wood

What is the decant exactly?
A 10 ml decant in a glass spray vial, filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us. It is not an official brand sample, and Pernoire is not involved.
Is it very smoky?
The smoke comes from smoked prunes, oud and cypriol, but the key lime and black tea at the top and the orange blossom and tonka at the base give it brighter and softer sides.
Can I wear it in summer?
It is built for cooler evenings, and in heat the spice and smoke can feel heavy. If you want to wear it year round, a few test days in warm weather will answer that.

About Pernoire
Pernoire is a young Swiss house: two childhood friends, Robin Dünner and Nico Mannino, founded it in 2020 and develop every composition with the perfumer Andreas Wilhelm. Each perfume is an Extrait de Parfum, at 25% in the Anima line or 30% in Odus, and each is named after an idea or its key notes: Anelo for pineapple and pomelo, Poka for popcorn and caramel. At these concentrations a few wearings from a 10 ml decant tell you whether a perfume is yours.
