The whole idea is one particular moment: daylight is gone and the streets are not yet lit. Honey shades slide into amber, and the perfume is built to match that glow. It is meant for going out far more than for a working day.

Resin, lavender and cinnamon
The brand describes the opening as a cistus labdanum, lavandin and cinnamon leaf accord. Labdanum is a dark, sticky resin, lavender gives a clean aromatic edge, and cinnamon a dry spice that does not read as sweet. Together they give the start a resinous grip.

About Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Maison Francis Kurkdjian, co-founded in Paris in 2009 by the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya, treats perfume as a wardrobe: a set of scents you choose from according to mood. Several exist in two concentrations, and one pair, Gentle Fluidity, uses the same six ingredients for two different results. A wardrobe is something you try on, and with 10 ml decants you can compare an eau de parfum with its extrait on your own skin before deciding.
