Sarah Baker Perfumes is run from a studio in East London by two artists, Sarah Baker and Andy Hsu, and it works the way an art project would: every perfume is a collaboration with a different independent perfumer, credited on the bottle, and each is cast as a character in an ongoing fantasy world with its own mini screenplay. Characters this vivid, a vengeful peach, a mermaid's tidepool, a gilded oud, are better met in person. A 10 ml decant is the introduction.

About Sarah Baker Perfumes
Four characters to meet first
Peach's Revenge, by Chris Maurice, is a spiced peach: peach, guava, nectarine and amaretto over orris, cardamom and cinnamon, on amber and caramel. Atlante, by Sarah McCartney, is a salty tidepool of yuzu, seaweed and wet rock over cedar and driftwood. Gold Spot is the oud of the house, orange blossom and bergamot over dark chocolate, Laos oud and butterscotch. Pastel Rumours, an Eau de Parfum, is milky peach with ginger and custard creams.
Whisky, mezcal and peach pie
Tartan Cask is a smoky Highland scene, peaty whisky and heather over tobacco, leather and moss. Flame & Fortune, by Sarah Baker herself, sets orange blossom and tuberose alight with mezcal, embers and a motor oil note. Va Va Vanilla opens with espresso martini and black cherry over coffee, rum and leather. Rococo Pie is peach pie, coconut and walnut; Jungle Jezebel banana, bubblegum and tuberose; Charade tuberose with leather, tea and honey.
Small batches in East London
The brand says it collaborates with its noses and does not dictate. It dilutes, fills, boxes and bottles in-house in London, in small batches, and each box is hand-stamped. Most perfumes are vegan friendly; the brand names Atlante, Charade and Flame & Fortune as the exceptions. Our decants are filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us; they are not official brand samples, and the house is not involved.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
