Blossom and citrus
Orange blossom, bergamot, neroli and petitgrain open it with a bright, slightly green mix of citrus and flowers. Cypriol sits beneath with a dry, woody undertone, so the freshness has a dark edge from the very first minute and never feels sunny and plain.

Chocolate, butterscotch, oud
In the heart the perfume turns dark and sweet. Dark chocolate and butterscotch give it a confectionery side, and Laos oud adds resinous, woody depth. It is like a bonbon with a dark centre: rich, though not syrupy. This is the stage to watch on your skin.

Agarwood, amber, myrrh
The base is built on Suyufi agarwood, with amber, vanilla, musk and sweet myrrh around it. It is warm, smooth and resinous, and the sweetness of the heart carries through into it. Being an Extrait, it is dense and compact on the skin.

About Sarah Baker
Sarah Baker Perfumes is run from a studio in East London by two artists, Sarah Baker and Andy Hsu, and it works the way an art project would: every perfume is a collaboration with a different independent perfumer, credited on the bottle, and each is cast as a character in an ongoing fantasy world with its own mini screenplay. Characters this vivid, a vengeful peach, a mermaid's tidepool, a gilded oud, are better met in person. A 10 ml decant is the introduction.
