Sospiro is the Italian word for a sigh, and the house, founded in Italy in 2011 and run from Dubai since 2022, writes each perfume like a musical score: top, heart and base as opening, development and resolution. The names follow suit, Vibrato, Basso, Mezzo, Bel Canto. A score only makes sense when it is played, and a perfume when it is worn; with 10 ml decants you can listen to several movements before you choose a bottle.

About Sospiro
Four Sospiro samples to open with
Vibrato is the fresh one, grapefruit, bergamot, ginger and rosemary over magnolia and rose, on vetiver and sandalwood. Il Padrino is warm and calm: dark rum, amaretto and blackcurrant with dry amber, sandalwood and benzoin. Basso opens on grapefruit alone, then mayflower, carnation and labdanum over peppers, guaiac wood and oakmoss. Dolce Melodia is the sweet floral, mandarin and saffron into rose, gardenia and pear, on vanilla and white musk.
The rest of the programme
Erba Pura Magica is bright: jasmine, bergamot, lemon and fruity notes over orris, amber and caramel. Erba Leather adds passion fruit and leathery notes to bergamot, jasmine and sandalwood. Accento Viola pairs pineapple and hyacinth with iris and pink pepper. Mezzo is fresh, lavender, juniper and apple over tonka and moss; Vibranna rests bergamot and orris on nutmeg and patchouli; Bel Canto is the powdery one, jasmine, violet and sandalwood.
A butterfly on the bottle
The flacon has a velvet finish the brand likens to a butterfly's wing, with an engraved rose-gold cap; the butterfly is the house emblem and stands for love. The brand credits Christian Provenzano with Vibrato and Erba Leather, among others, and says oud is one instrument in the arrangement, never the headline. What is the difference between Erba Pura Magica and Erba Leather?

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible.
