Is the decant produced by Le Labo?
No. FragranceGems pours the Eau de Parfum from the original 50 ml bottle into a glass spray vial and sticks on our own label. Le Labo does not take part.
Is it a patchouli perfume?
By name it is, though the brand admits patchouli is hard to find in the formula. Smoky, leathery birch comes forward first, and vanilla takes the edge off.
Is it sweet?
Not mainly. The brand describes only a touch of vanilla softening the dark notes, so any sweetness is gentle and the overall tone stays smoky.

About Le Labo
Le Labo began in 2006 as a small laboratory in Nolita, New York, opened by two friends, Fabrice Penot and Eddie Roschi. The names follow a formula, a raw material plus a number, and they rarely tell the whole story: Santal 33 is as much cardamom, iris and violet as sandalwood, and in Patchouli 24 birch smoke takes over. That is why samples matter with this house. A 10 ml decant shows what the name leaves out, on your skin, over several days.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
