A morning idea
The brand traces the perfume to a stretching session that founder Thibaud Crivelli did on a terrace at first light, and the theme is vitality. That explains the character: not a sleepy, powdery musk but one meant to feel awake and open.

Rose and incense in a musk
Damask rose and olibanum resin run through the musks. Rose gives a clear floral line, incense a dry, slightly resinous clarity of its own, and the musks hold them together. All three make the musk luminous instead of heavy.

Tonka bean absolute rounds off the perfume with a honeyed warmth that softens the brightness of the bergamot at the start. The path runs from fresh to smooth, and tonka is the note that makes the finish feel gentle and close to the skin.

Maison Crivelli starts every perfume from something its founder actually lived: Thibaud Crivelli sipping hibiscus tea in a gemstone market, finding passion fruit in an oud forest, crossing saffron fields in fog. The independent Paris house turns each scene into an extrait de parfum or an eau de parfum built on a contrast, fruit against oud, flower against leather.
