Is it very sweet?
It is a gourmand, so sweetness is part of the idea: cocoa, vanilla, tonka and, in the brand's words, toasted cane sugar and candied dates. Oud, myrrh and spice set a darker counterweight.
Which season suits it?
Cooler months are its home ground, since spice, cocoa and resin gain from the cold. In warmer weather it is worth testing the decant before deciding whether it works for you.

Maison Crivelli starts every perfume from something its founder actually lived: Thibaud Crivelli sipping hibiscus tea in a gemstone market, finding passion fruit in an oud forest, crossing saffron fields in fog. The independent Paris house turns each scene into an extrait de parfum or an eau de parfum built on a contrast, fruit against oud, flower against leather. Contrasts are personal, which is why a 10 ml decant on your own skin is the place to start.
