Apricot with an edge
Sharp and spicy is how the brand puts the start, with apricot and juicy fruit. Blackberry leaf is listed beside the apricot and adds a green, slightly tart edge. Notice whether this opening reads as fruit or as spice on your skin.

Is the vial something Mind Games sends out?
Mind Games has nothing to do with the vial. FragranceGems decants the Extrait from the original bottle and attaches its own label.
Is the leather heavy?
It is dark and supple rather than heavy: black leather softened by cedarwood, orris and a toasty popcorn note. As an extrait it is dense but not harsh, though only skin can tell.
What story is behind it?
The theme is willing sacrifice for the sake of love, freedom and the future, as Mind Games puts it. In the perfumer's words it is the contrast of black and white on the board.

About Mind Games
Mind Games takes its vocabulary from chess: every perfume is an 'aromatic movement' named after a move or an idea from the game, from French Defense to Double Attack. Creators Alex and Mariana Shalbaf work with the master perfumers of the fragrance house Symrise, and everything we decant is an Extrait de Parfum. The names give no hint of the smell, mango, cherry, chocolate, coffee, so the sensible opening move is a few 10 ml decants.
