Jam, salt and acid
Dark plum gives a deep, jammy fruit, salted caramel a round sweetness with a slight savoury edge, and Italian lemon a bright line of acidity that stops it from clogging. The start is a dessert held in check by sourness, juicy and quite direct.

Roast and liqueur
In the heart, amber coffee brings dark, roasted warmth and crème de cassis a deep berry sweetness like a liqueur. The gourmand side tips towards evening here: it is coffee and liqueur, nothing light, while a trace of plum from the top lingers.

Oud, wood, honeyed tonka
Boya oud, sandalwood and tonka bean form the base. The brand credits oud and amber resin with the smoky, earthy foundation, sandalwood smooths it, and tonka brings a honeyed warmth that points back to the caramel. As an extrait it sits dense on the skin.

About Mind Games
Mind Games takes its vocabulary from chess: every perfume is an 'aromatic movement' named after a move or an idea from the game, from French Defense to Double Attack. Creators Alex and Mariana Shalbaf work with the master perfumers of the fragrance house Symrise, and everything we decant is an Extrait de Parfum. The names give no hint of the smell, mango, cherry, chocolate, coffee, so the sensible opening move is a few 10 ml decants.
