The top lists seven notes: blood orange, blackcurrant, raspberry, bergamot, rhubarb, lemon and redcurrant. FragranceGems says the sharp citrus and tart rhubarb cut through the sweet red fruit. It is a busy opening, so give it a minute before you form an opinion.

The heart pairs white flowers with something darker. Orange blossom, ylang-ylang and jasmine meet almond and coffee, and FragranceGems describes bittersweet roasted coffee against creamy almond. This is the most distinctive part, and the one that decides whether you like it.

Is Pink Beach a dessert scent?
