Water, pear and ylang-ylang on patchouli
Artemis, from FragranceGems' own Velixir line, is an Eau de Parfum that opens with aquatic notes, pear and ambrette musk, moves to ylang-ylang and jasmine, and rests on patchouli. FragranceGems tags it unisex and files it under aquatic, floral and woody. Water and flowers over patchouli sit between fresh and earthy, which is easier to judge on skin than on paper.

The composition
The curve shows the order in which the notes come forward, not their strength.
On the skin
Aquatic notes give a cool, clear feel, pear a ripe and juicy sweetness, and ambrette musk a soft, plant-like musky veil. FragranceGems calls the effect refreshing and cool. Spray once and see which of the three leads for you.
Ylang-ylang adds a sunny, exotic creaminess and jasmine a refined, slightly heady white flower. This pair turns the airy top into something rounder, and the moment of that change is worth watching on your own skin, a few minutes in.
A single base note, patchouli, closes the perfume with a dry, earthy, slightly balsamic character. It anchors the watery top and the flowers. Check later in the day whether the earth feels welcome against the freshness, or whether it feels out of place.
Testing it
Wear Artemis on a spring or summer day on clean skin, at work or for an evening out, as FragranceGems lists both. Check the skin after the aquatic top has settled to see how the flowers show, then once more later for the patchouli.
FragranceGems tags Artemis as unisex and moderate, for spring and summer, and for daily, evening and work wear. It suits someone who likes aquatic perfumes with a floral heart and a plain earthy end. If you favour sweet or smoky perfumes, this will seem cooler.
Water and patchouli can feel airy or austere depending on the skin, and the middle of flowers is what decides it. FragranceGems also owns the Velixir line, so the vial comes from the original bottle with our label added. The page also carries a link to the full bottle.
What you receive
We start with a full bottle of the perfume. Nothing is diluted, mixed or added.
Filled by hand into a clean glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml and closed straight after filling.
Our own label names the brand, the perfume, the concentration and the size.
A decant is not an official brand sample: no box, no original bottle, and we are not affiliated with the brands.

Ambrette is a plant seed used in perfumery for a soft, slightly nutty musky note. Here it sits in the top, softening the aquatic start.
Both: aquatic notes and pear in the top, then ylang-ylang and jasmine in the heart. The sample shows which side leads on your skin.
FragranceGems lists evening among its occasions, next to daily and work. Wear the sample after dark once to see how the flowers and patchouli behave.
The brand
Velixir is a young perfume house from Indonesia, founded in 2025, that says it wants to "redefine accessible luxury in modern perfumery" and bring Indonesian perfumery to a global stage. The perfumes are Eau de Parfum and carry names from mythology: Icarus, Asteria, Aphrodite, Persephone, Poseidon. Because the range is wide and the names say little about the scent, a few samples side by side are the quickest way in.

Timely info when item was back in stock. Some confusion with info about shipment updates on gls app but what is important: perfume came in perfect condition!
incredible fast delivery l. the fragrance itself its magnificent, the dry down woody base, is intoxicating. it last on me 10 hours plus. great service great fragrance
Good experience overall. Fast shipping without any incidents. Prices are good as well.
Really happy of my purchase. Serious seller, quality products, fast shipping, large catalog. I will order a lot of more !
Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
Great shop with a fantastic selection and fast shipping. I was very happy with my order. It would have been a nice touch to receive a little sample, especially as I ordered two full-size products. ;)
Placing the order was very easy. Shipping was very fast. I am completely satisfied.
Plenty of perfumes and very good perfumes. Fast shipping. One negative. Expensive shipping from Netherlands to Greece
